Provide administrative and staff support for the Communications and Public Affairs Government Relations staff located in Sacramento, California. .
Support effort to expand ETS brand, develop opportunities, and establish positions in CA and the Western Region.
Coordinate and monitor a variety of administrative and support services (including initiating, planning, coordinating and monitoring projects, processes and assignments) for the Communications & Public Affairs California staff.
Provide support by handling logistical arrangements for external and internal visitors and clients; this includes but is not limited to setting up meetings, creating agendas, and booking travel arrangements.
Coordinate with internal and external staff to accomplish activities such as scheduling, and developing agendas for group meetings or events.
May also include conducting research and compiling information for quarterly or annual reports, departmental projects or company tasks forces, where information must be gathered and compiled from a variety of sources.
Respond to inquiries from all levels of employees or external sources regarding a variety of questions such as clarification of company policies and procedures, programs, productions and/or services.
May communicate sensitive information to senior management or external sources.
Produce documents that require a highly technical skill and knowledge of Microsoft Office Products and other software programs.
Provide support by handling logistical arrangements for events held in California.
This includes but is not limited to reserving a venue, creating invite list, working with creative staff to create invites, emailing/mailing invites, booking catering, setting up equipment at event, and compiling packets to distribute at the events.
Coordinate events/meetings to support ETS initiatives
Communicate with all staff, executive levels, internal and external contacts sufficient to exchange and/or disseminate information, implement project plans, coordinate meetings and represent ETS.
Communicate professionally with State Government Offices Experience/interest in legislative process and public policy
Proficiency in using computer software programs (i.e., MSOffice, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) to produce various charts, graphs, presentations, spreadsheets, tables, and documents.
Strong writing skills to draft, edit, and finalize correspondence, reports, and proposals; strong verbal skills to communicate with internal and external clients when planning meetings/events, etc.
Education:
An Associate's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and ability can be acquired is necessary.
Experience:
Three years of progressively responsible administrative experience. Experience in communications a plus..
