Long-time, local professional pet sitting service is hiring experienced independent contractors throughout Sac and Placer counties. Experience is preferred, but will train. I need pet sitters who have cars who will be going on Daily Visits to clients home to take care of their pets (this is a requirement for ALL petsitters), who can spend nights at clients home, bring pets into their own home for boarding, dog walkers, administer medication and pet taxi. Each pet sitter does not have to do all of these services. The more you can do, the better chances of being hired. The hours needed for the pet sitters who go into clients home, called 'Daily Visits', (this is required for all pet sitters) are approx from 8:00am - 1:00pm, and sometimes from 12:00 - 2:00pm for mid-day dog walks, and if a client needs another visit at night, from approx 6:00pm - 9:00pm. Those of you who work part-time or full-time or who go to school please do not apply. I've tried hiring people who work and go to school and it has never worked out. This is a great position for stay-at-home moms or for energetic retirees. You will be lifting heavy litterboxes and tossing bags of dirty litter in the trash. Lots of stooping over too. You'll also be taking out client's trash and watering lawns and flowers.
