PHOTOGRAPHY APPRENTICESHIP
This is a great hands on opportunity for a student or aspiring photographer to learn about the business of photography and get paid for it! Many photography programs offer college credit for experiences like this and I am happy to talk to your instructors if it so applies
About you:
detail-oriented visual Photoshop and Mac-savvy enthusiastic easy-going dedicated trustworthy reliable hard-working motivated
must have a reliable car, a valid California drivers license and a clean record
must have a flexible schedule
must have your own equipment

About me:
Ive been working as a full time photographer for the past seven years, during which time Ive founded and managed two businesses
I teach photography
I have documentary photography projects in Brasil and Sri Lanka
I photograph people for various purposes: editorials, weddings, portraits, advertising, etc
I shoot both digital and film
I am a filmmaker working on my second film
About the job:
You will learn various aspects of the photography business from scheduling consultations with clients to shooting and editing
You will accompany me in client meetings, editorial shoots, weddings and more
You will have a chance to produce images for your portfolio
You will get feedback on your images
You will also get a chance to learn about video production
You will work part-time, the number of hours varying weekly
You will get paid $8/hour plus 30 cents per driven mile
