Configuration/Change Strategist

Execute configuration and change control processes and standards in accordance with the Configuration/Change Control Management.





Plan including:





Change Control Board.





Prioritization.





Reviews and approvals.





Software Configuration Management.





Lead/facilitate configuration/change control management throughout the project.





Facilitate alignment between Client** and the business partner's configuration/change control management methods, processes, and standards.








Required:





8+ years of professional experience in business and/or information technology and project management activities.





4+ years of experience performing hands-on configuration/change management for web-based application development or packaged software project start-up, delivery, implementation, and/or post-implementation support projects.





4+ years of experience developing and executing formal Configuration/ Change Management Plans.





Experience establishing and maintaining formal process for configuration management.





Ability to functionally set up and manage implementation of Serena Changeman/Dimensions.








Desired:





1+ years of experience working within a formal Project Office, PMO, or equivalent environment.





4+ years of experience using formal configuration/change control tools (e.g., PVCS, CVS, automated change control logs, etc.).





2+ years of experience establishing, leading, and/or facilitating formal Change Control Boards (CCB**s).





Experience establishing and maintaining formal process for SEI.





CMMI Process and Product Quality Assurance.





Project Management Professional (PMP).





Experience in software deployment, release management and product lifecycle management.








Education, Certifications, Other:





Bachelor's Degree





PMP preferred
