SUMMARY
Formulates and defines systems scope and objectives. Analyzes business procedures and problems to develop specifications and convert them to application code.
Responsible for interfacing with the Demand Forecasting Team in the Sales & Operational Planning group, prioritizing key initiatives with the business, and managing them through implementation. Knowledge of forecasting systems, planning systems, or Supply Chain theory is strongly desired. The person will lead analysis and projects as well as be responsible for designing, coding, testing, and implementing business solutions with the application and associated toolsets. Prior experience, qualifications and/or skills desired include 3-5 years of experience in application development including business analysis, Oracle, PL/SQL, Visual Basic, Information Builders WebFocus, and/or Java. Additional responsibilities include system integration support with external applications such as J. D. Edwards and data warehouses. Candidate must be a self-starter with the ability to work as part of a team.
