The Clinical Coordinator is responsible for providing direction and clinical supervision of patient care for specific shift, patient population and assigned staff. The Clinical Coordinator is a professional caregiver with requisite clinical and supervisory experience which promotes an atmosphere that is responsive to the needs of patients, nursing, and medical staff. The Clinical Coordinator is knowledgeable about and promotes the philosophy, goals and objectives of the department.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Knowledge of: Care of the patient in the Medical Surgical/Neuro Unit setting.
Ability to: Supervise staff utilizing a collaborative team approach as well as clinically
care for patients in this setting.
Current telemetry certification, ACLS, Procedural Sedation, Current California RN license and BLS
Requires 1 year experience as a RN in a Neuro unit. Pref 2 years or Combo of EDU/EXP.
