OVERVIEW:
The Crisis Management Counselor (CMC) is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the residents. Provides leadership and assistance to residents and staff in resolving crisis situations.
Duties are included, but not limited to:
• Develop and implement an Action Plan for children displaying high risk behaviors.
• Provide leadership and assistance to staff and residents in resolving crisis situations.
REQUIREMENTS:
PLEASE NOTE: *** THIS POSITION IS NOT IN AN OFFICE SETTING ***
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.
• BA degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling or a related field is desired.
• Four years experience working with severely, emotionally disturbed children in a direct care group home setting.
• Must be at least 21 years of age or older.
