Andromeda, or Andy, is a 4 year old, 14.3 (probably squish to 15 hands) grey, Andalusian cross mare who will fill out to look very spanish when she is older. If you know Spanish horses they mature very slowly and do not reach their full body mass and mturity until they are 5 or 6. She is a very sweet mare and would make a nice three day eventer, jumper or dressage prospect. She was started under saddle by an abusive trainer so she needs to be re trained not to be afraid of it. I have gotten her to the point where she will accept the bridle, give to the bit, wear a saddle but isn't confident about putting it on, lunges, clips, ties, bathes, trailers, nicely mannered despite being thumped on by someone. She has a scar on each of her back legs from where they tied her hind foot to her front foot to teach her to stand. . .doesn't hinder her movements, but would like to do the same to them. I would love to keep her myself forever to ensure she has no more bad days, but I am in the beginning of a pregnancy with my second child and time will be limited to say the least. I also can't ride for a while. An awesome horse for someone with the time and the patience to spend with her.
