In-House Patent Attorney Position



This position will report to the Associate General Counsel for Intellectual Property



Responsibilities:

Work closely with technology groups to identify patentable innovations and strategic areas for patenting

Drafting and prosecuting patent applications

Provide advice and support to business and technical groups on intellectual property-related matters



Requirements:

2+ years experience in drafting and prosecuting applications

JD and admission to practice before USPTO

BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or a related field desirable

Experience with, and understanding of, Web architecture, operation, and programming

Experience in a Web retail or e-commerce environment is a plus

Experience working in the Patent Office highly desirable

Ability to work in a dynamic, ambiguous and fast-paced environment
