Job Description:
The Project Manager will have complete responsibility for the planning, staffing, execution, monitoring and delivery of the project. They will be fully accountable for the success of the project. As part of their role, the Project Manager will be required to understand and implement the client's objectives, and have a clear and business-driven vision of how to achieve them.
This position requires the management of all the human resources for the team and a disciplined approach to day-to-day supervision. The skilled management of competing objectives and priorities is essential to this role. The Project Manager is accountable for the delivery of quality services performed in accordance with the Project Management Plan.
Qualifications:
4 year college degree, graduate degree preferred.
Solid technical project management experience.
Strong familiarity with Web application technologies environments.
Knowledge of networking and security disciplines.
Seasoned approach to managing technology as a means to accomplish business goals.
US Citizen or Permanent Residents only.
Skills/Requirements:
Required Skills:
At least 2 years of public sector project management consulting experience.
Sound knowledge of system development, project management and software development methodologies and quality processes will be beneficial.
Experience serving as trusted advisor to clients as well as having a strong client-centric focus is key
Manage single and multiple projects, in varying stages of development.
Establish project plans, tasks, timelines, estimates and budgets, and effectively manage them.
Work within industry-standard development methodologies.
Define and evaluate risk, and plan effective solutions.
Support and mentor clients in all aspects of methodology, processes and technology principles.
Demonstrate a high level of communication, presentation, negotiation and risk-management skill.
Proven track record in developing motivated team structures and network
6+ years of full life-cycle software design and development.
1+ years of IT production support processes.
2+ years working in an internet organization.
Quantitative, analytical and problem solving.
Managing web development projects.
Client and employee relationship building.
Demonstrated leadership and management understanding.
